Stur-D Products has made hauling big round bales easier and safer for nearly 25 years. These racks are big enough and stout enough to handle the biggest of bales. They are available in three lengths in either the standard non-folding model or the folding side model which can easily be folded back to 8ft. 6in. legal width. The 16ft. 6in. rack will accommodate 9 bales, the 21ft. 6in. rack holds 12 bales and the 26ft. 6in. will hold 15 bales when loaded in the pyramid fashion. Truck and trailer mounting kits are available to mount the rack to the truck or trailer bed. Wagon mounting kits are available to mount any of the racks to a 4 wheel farm wagon. These kits are specially designed to allow the wagon to move and twist beneath the loaded rack while holding the rack and load above the wheels and tires. Each rack comes standard with a front mounted “A” frame which keeps the bales from tipping off the front of the rack, protecting the truck or tractor. A combination of lengths can be used to outfit almost any size semi trailer, and can extend over the back of the trailer for added hauling capacity. The folding model rack is ideal for semi trailers, allowing the rack to be folded in to legal width for travel while empty or at night. In the folded position, the rack lays completely flat making it easier to haul machinery or other items on top of the rack and trailer. All racks are constructed of 2 7/8 inch O.D. extra heavy round tubing. The racks are 10ft. 6in. wide to cradle 2 big round bales loaded pyramid fashion or 2 bales loaded flat side out.
